APRIL 2024
A little about this wonderful destination.
Come and discover exotic Patagonia up close
We start in Torres del Paine National Park, everything revolves around an immense mass of mountains that can be informally divided into two parts. On one side, ‘Los Cuernos’ and its incredible ballet of forms and stratified surfaces. To the northeast, the famous granite towers that make climbers from all over the world happy. The entire mountain range was formed over the last ice ages, carving out a chain of peaks independent of the Andes. Surrounding it are dramatic glaciers, such as Grey, and meltwater lakes with waters in shades of blue, green and gray. Its milky appearance comes from the voluminous load of minerals that have been stripped from the slopes by gigantic tongues of ice for tens of thousands of years. Lakes like Sarmiento, del Toro,
Then we left Chile heading to Argentine Patagonia.
El Chaltén is considered the capital of trekking in Argentina, a small and charming city in Patagonia, located between mountains, lakes and glaciers. It is one of the main destinations for mountaineers and hikers from all over the world.
Located within Los Glaciares National Park, its landscapes of rock and ice mountains are among the most beautiful in the world. The most popular mountains are: Cerro Fitz Roy, also known as El Chaltén, which gave the city its name; and Cerro Torre, considered by climbers to be the most difficult mountain in the world.
Come with me and hike in autumn on the multi-colored trails of El Chalten, always with the backdrop of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. Waterfalls, wildlife and astrophotography.
Be my guest and come and photograph the beauties of Argentine and Chilean Patagonia.
